THE BOBBY VINTON THEATRE
The Bobby Vinton Theatre is one of the
newest theatres in Branson. Its
distinctive style sets it apart from the
ordinary. From the moment you step
inside you are transported to a time of
elegance and grandeur. Remembering the
mood that the famous Gaman's Chinese
Theatre, the Pantages and the Egyptian
Theater set to entice their audiences,
Bobby chose this style to remind his
guest of the old Hollywood Theater era.
Upon entering the Vinton Theatre, you
will find hand-painted mural ceilings.
The European artist, Antonio, painted
the murals to give the viewer a feeling
of Italian Renaissance. The lobby
features tile flooring hand dyed blue as
well as wrought iron railings hand
forged by a Spanish artist to recapture
the old world feeling. Entering the
auditorium Bobby's audience will notice
many of his many colorful hit records
such as Blue Velvet, and Blue on Blue.
Under foot, you will notice custom made
blue carpeting enchanted with gold
records detailed with the initials BV.
More murals can be found in the
auditorium and surrounding the stage.
The stage curtain was custom made with
hundreds of yards of Blue Velvet
drapery. The curtain is bordered with a
14 inch wide tapestry, edged with a band
of gold fabric made of 14 carat gold
threads. These are just a few of the
visual treasures created especially for
Bobby's fans.
